Cherrise Bryan is running for District 6 School Board Member to bring practical leadership, responsible decision-making, and a strong commitment to the people of the Jackson Parish School District. She believes every student deserves access to a high-quality education that promotes continuous growth and leads to proficiency in every subject, including science, social studies, mathematics, and English Language Arts.
As a retired educator with 24 years of service in Jackson Parish Schools, her experience as an elementary and junior high teacher and later becoming an Instructional Coordinator has given her a deep understanding of what it takes to support student achievement, strengthen teachers, and make informed decisions that place the needs of students first.
